This week-long encounter takes place at the height of Spring. It’s an opportunity for feeling into our aliveness and longings, of celebrating fresh new growth, and learning to be tender and patient with ourselves as our soul’s calling unfolds.

In this birthing of spring, we invite you to: 

  • Honour the story of your birth and menarche

  • Experience the generosity of Nature, foraging for edible and medicinal plants.

  • Explore the potential of your dreaming and visioning.

  • Build a shrine to innocence and your inner child.

  • Take playful risks (like plunging into the gorge).

  • Explore the sensual world, meeting Nature spirits on a walkabout.

  • Seeding your intentions by planting seedlings out into the waiting soil.

This week is for you if: 

  • You feel despairing, cynical and want to reconnect with innocence and wonder.

  • You want to feel fully alive again after the long winter.

  • You want to begin a new project or phase in your life.

  • You want to reconnect with your soul’s calling through nature.

  • You want to put your hands in the soil, and plant seeds.

  • In an intimate group of up to eight, we will take time sit in circle, share nourishing home-cooked meals, work with intentional practices (ritual, ceremony, spell-work) and spend time in nature.

    This phase of the cycle is reflected in the rising quarter moon, the follicular phase, our experiences of childhood and the initiation of menarche and the way of the seed and shoot.

    • 7 nights’ accommodation in our home in Colombières-sur-Orb

    • 6 half-days of guided retreat sessions and group circles

    • Ample time in nature, creative practice, and space for rest

    • breakfast starter-pack provided plus three other home-cooked meals during the retreat, otherwise self-catering

    • Optional add-ons (available to book separately): extra nights’ accommodation, individual wellbeing treatments (massage, reflexology, coaching, etc.)

    • Arrival: from 15:00 on 10th April

    • Departure: by 12:00 on 17th April

      Travel:

      • 50 mins from Béziers (train or airport, Ryanair)

      • 90 mins from Montpellier (airport, Easyjet)

      • Pick-ups available (€55 from Béziers, €80 from Montpellier)

      • TGV trains to Béziers or Montpellier, then local train or bus to Bédarieux

      • Driving from SE England takes one long day or two easy days with a stop

    • Not included: travel, insurance, meals taken outside the retreat, personal purchases

    • Extra nights: subject to availability (Studio €45–64 per night, Gîte €58–69 per night)

    • Treatments: €55–75 per hour. Options include Lomi-lomi massage, reflexology, Indian head massage, Reiki, cycle awareness coaching, Feldenkrais
